Projects

Thanks to the generosity of the community, the Nanaimo-Ladysmith Schools Foundation is able to support a number of special programs and projects throughout the district.

District Honors Night at the Port Theatre to celebrate those students who receive $500 or more in awards. Scholarships, bursaries and awards under $500 presented at individual School Awards Assemblies.

Breakfast Programs - food programs at elementary and secondary schools for students lacking adequate nutrition.

Basic Needs Program / Load The Lockers - basic classroom supplies to support students when needed.

Student Support Fund - supports immediate needs of vulnerable students in the schools.

Mini O for Special Needs Students - approximately 80 athletes participate in this event every year
