Congratulations to Nanaimo and Ladysmith's Best and Brightest of 2011/12

Thanks to the generosity and vision of all our donors (individuals, businesses and service clubs), NLSF is helping 360 students pursue their Post Secondary dreams. Hats off to our volunteers on the Awards Selection Committee who spent many days pouring over the applications to decide on 489 community-based scholarships, awards and bursaries totaling $372,125.

YOUR continued support and encouragement is the reason YOU make a difference in young people’s lives.

About NLSF Awards, Bursaries and Scholarships

The Nanaimo-Ladysmith Schools Foundation works with the community on an ongoing basis to support the students of School District 68.  Scholarships, awards and bursaries are a major focus for the foundation.

In 2011/12, our donors in the community generously donated more than $290,000 to enable students to continue their education after graduating from Grade 12. The Ministry of Education also provided $80,000 in Dogwood Scholarships. Interested in becoming a donor and making a difference in a student's life? Learn more on the variety of donation options.
