Awards

The Nanaimo-Ladysmith Schools Foundation works with the community on an ongoing basis to support the students of School District 68.  Scholarships, awards and bursaries are a major focus for the foundation.

Last year, the communities of School District 68 generously donated more than $400,000 to enable students to continue their education after graduating from Grade 12.

At District Honours Night, awards $500 and over are presented at the Port Theatre in June of each year.  School Awards Nights  are held at individual schools in June to present awards under $500 and Dogwood District Authority Scholarships (Ministry sponsored) of $1,000.
